Day 15: A person I admire

Lisa and I talked about this (I know after 30 years we still talk) There are many people who fall into this category. Former Bishops, family and friends all have made huge impacts into our lives. We decided that the people you admire most are the ones that you want to spend the most time with. That would be our children. Their lives have been hectic and unsure at points in their lives. They have lived through multiple moves and changes of schools. They have suffered tragedies and loss. Each time they come out better than before. We are so proud of them and what they have and are attempting to accomplish. We are looking forward to March 30. Even though we realize the time will be short that we can spend with each of them. We long to be there and long for the company of the best people we know.

Day 14: A vacation I would like to take.

Mom and I talked and we would love to take a cruise to Hawaii. We found a package we could afford. Only problem is......

The boat is self powered. Ha Ha
There is a 15 day cruise out of LA to Hawaii. It takes 5 days to get there 5 days around the islands and 5 days home. That way I can calm down for the first 5 days and enjoy the last 10

Day 13: A Guilty Pleasure

Lisa:
My guilty pleasure is sleeping in, in the mornings until a ridiculously late hour.

Tony:
My guilty pleasure is not feeling guilty about my pleasures. The things that bring enjoyment into my life are nothing to feel guilty about.

Day 12: A Song Played at My Wedding or That I Want Played at My Wedding

We were married before music was invented. Lisa and I have talked about this and the only music played at our wedding was the traditional wedding march. A year later we were sealed in the temple. There is no music in the temple. Only the joy of my heart signing to the fact that we were now an eternal family. There can be no greater music than that.

Day 11: A Recent Picture of Me

Imagine finding a tree with the perfect phrase carved into it. : )

Day 10: A Picture of Me 10 Years Ago

Lisa and I are over achievers. 10 years is nothing. Try 30 years ago!

Day 9: A Picture I Took

Lisa:
I took this picture last month when we were having that really bad ice storm. This is what our little bush out front looked like at 10:00 pm. We went to bed after I took pictures. Which by the way was difficult in the dark. I got up around 1:00am and looked out to see how much worse it was and the ice had doubled in thickness and the branches were touching the ground. I was going to get good pictures in the morning light but by the time I got up it had all melted.

Tony: Still pictures are so yesterday. I like moving pictures. Hannah and I had a great afternoon in the snow.

Day 8: A thank You Letter To Someone That Has Changed My Life.

Lisa:
Dearest Tony,
Thank You for being my husband. Thank You for loving me for 30 years. Thank You for always making me laugh. Thank You for taking care of me. Thank You for loving me enough to want to be married to me for eternity. Thank You for four amazing children. Thank You for staying with me through all the rough times. Thank You for going shopping with me. Thank You for going along with me on all my little ventures. Thank You for ALL the many, many wonderful qualities that you have. (tooo many to start listing individually!) Thank You for always listening to my endless chatter. Thank You for all the wonderful things you have provided for me. Thank You for "What ever you want". Thank You for your smile, the way you look at me, your hugs and kisses. Thank You for always supporting me in my callings, and being my "assistant ______ ". Thank You for believing in me. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for everything!! I am a better person because of YOU. I love you so very much and think that you are the most amazing man ever.
Your loving Wife

Tony:
There are many many people who deserve this thank you note. I have always tried to surround myself with people who I admire. I have been fortunate to have been blessed with four wonderful children that fall into that category. So Thank You, my children for teaching me how to love unconditionally, Have patience as you learned new things, and for the lack of hair for watching you grow up and having to learn things on your own. But mostly for the opportunity of being part of your lives. You each have contributed to my growth. Thank you and I love you.
