Day 18: A Talent
Tony: Mom says I am talented at everything, so I guess I am. As I contemplate this day I realize how talented my children are and how many opportunities they had to expand on those talents. But I guess this is not about them. My Talents.... hmmmm. I guess I have an athletic ability to perform well in just about any type of sports activity. I get along well with people and I am able to listen when they need it. I try to fix problems which sometimes works out and sometimes not. But mostly I have a talent of adoring my beautiful wife and admiring her talents. Lisa: I have the ability to look at a home and turn it into a warm comfortable place to live. I have the talent to know the truth of a situation and am able to look beyond the surface. (dad wrote this one. Mom can always tell when the kids are being less than truthfull).

Day 17: An Art Piece
Our favorite artist is Hannah Marie Behrend. These are a few of our favorite pieces. This is a portrait of Tony and Lisa in our clown suits. Notice the dots on our arms and legs, these are elbows and knees. If you look close there is a little person inbetween us. This is Hannah. She was three when this was drawn.
This is one of my all time favorites. Hannah drew this one day while sitting across from Papa while he was working. Love the glasses! She was about four.
The most recent addition to our collection we recieved on spring break. From left to right-Hannah, Jess, Papa, Nana, and Mike. Notice Mike's cowl-lick. Also the similarities in our outfits (Mine and Tonys and Mike, Jess, and Hannahs) The scanner cut off the edgeso it is a little hard to read. "On spring break my grandparents came over to our house."

Day 15: A person I admire
Lisa and I talked about this (I know after 30 years we still talk) There are many people who fall into this category. Former Bishops, family and friends all have made huge impacts into our lives. We decided that the people you admire most are the ones that you want to spend the most time with. That would be our children. Their lives have been hectic and unsure at points in their lives. They have lived through multiple moves and changes of schools. They have suffered tragedies and loss. Each time they come out better than before. We are so proud of them and what they have and are attempting to accomplish. We are looking forward to March 30. Even though we realize the time will be short that we can spend with each of them. We long to be there and long for the company of the best people we know.

Day 14: A vacation I would like to take.
Mom and I talked and we would love to take a cruise to Hawaii. We found a package we could afford. Only problem is......
The boat is self powered. Ha Ha
There is a 15 day cruise out of LA to Hawaii. It takes 5 days to get there 5 days around the islands and 5 days home. That way I can calm down for the first 5 days and enjoy the last 10

Day 13: A Guilty Pleasure
Lisa:
My guilty pleasure is sleeping in, in the mornings until a ridiculously late hour.
Tony:
My guilty pleasure is not feeling guilty about my pleasures. The things that bring enjoyment into my life are nothing to feel guilty about.

Day 12: A Song Played at My Wedding or That I Want Played at My Wedding
We were married before music was invented. Lisa and I have talked about this and the only music played at our wedding was the traditional wedding march. A year later we were sealed in the temple. There is no music in the temple. Only the joy of my heart signing to the fact that we were now an eternal family. There can be no greater music than that.
