Day 9: A Picture I Took
Lisa:
I took this picture last month when we were having that really bad ice storm. This is what our little bush out front looked like at 10:00 pm. We went to bed after I took pictures. Which by the way was difficult in the dark. I got up around 1:00am and looked out to see how much worse it was and the ice had doubled in thickness and the branches were touching the ground. I was going to get good pictures in the morning light but by the time I got up it had all melted.

Tony: Still pictures are so yesterday. I like moving pictures. Hannah and I had a great afternoon in the snow.

Day 8: A thank You Letter To Someone That Has Changed My Life.
Lisa:
Dearest Tony,
Thank You for being my husband. Thank You for loving me for 30 years. Thank You for always making me laugh. Thank You for taking care of me. Thank You for loving me enough to want to be married to me for eternity. Thank You for four amazing children. Thank You for staying with me through all the rough times. Thank You for going shopping with me. Thank You for going along with me on all my little ventures. Thank You for ALL the many, many wonderful qualities that you have. (tooo many to start listing individually!) Thank You for always listening to my endless chatter. Thank You for all the wonderful things you have provided for me. Thank You for "What ever you want". Thank You for your smile, the way you look at me, your hugs and kisses. Thank You for always supporting me in my callings, and being my "assistant ______ ". Thank You for believing in me. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for everything!! I am a better person because of YOU. I love you so very much and think that you are the most amazing man ever.
Your loving Wife
Tony:
There are many many people who deserve this thank you note. I have always tried to surround myself with people who I admire. I have been fortunate to have been blessed with four wonderful children that fall into that category. So Thank You, my children for teaching me how to love unconditionally, Have patience as you learned new things, and for the lack of hair for watching you grow up and having to learn things on your own. But mostly for the opportunity of being part of your lives. You each have contributed to my growth. Thank you and I love you.

Day 6: A Moment I Wish I Could Relive
Lisa: This was a little harder for me, I had to think about it all day. So... do I want to relive a moment and change it or just relive a moment as it was? I also couldn't think of just a single moment. I have missed going to all the events that my children have participated in from the first soccer game of Mikes, to the last dance competition of ShanTays, and all the swim and dive meets, track meets, choir performances, plays, graduations, camps, etc., etc., etc., in between. I loved watching my children succeed and growing in the things they enjoyed doing. I also thought alot about the first time each one of my children were placed in my arms for the first time after they were born. Each was such an incredible moment. I have decided that I will for ever cherish each moment I have had with my children and that I don't really want to relive any of them. Each one is a great memory that I will always have. I just want to have many, many more wonderful moments together!
Tony: I wish I could relive the day I agreed to do this challenge..... Then I could use Mike's line. "Or not."
I, like Lisa, have cherished the times with my children and their accomplishments. I miss sitting on the couch on Saturday mornings with my kids sitting next to me. When they were all safe and secure in my arms. Those were good days. But I am a fortunate man. I get to relive my favorite moment every day. The moment I look into Lisa's eyes and see the love I feel for her reflected back to me.

Day 5: Favorite Quote
Lisa: I have a couple of quotes that I like. I don't know who said these first two.
"Live in such a way that those who know you, but don't know God, will want the know God, because they know you."
*****
Thought on Marriage: The path that leads to happiness is so narrow that two can't walk on it unless...they are one.
*****
This one has to be the best though:
"I never meant anything more in my whole life." by Darla Miles
Tony: Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ouselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightend about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of Gd that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we uncounsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
